The American curriculum at RIS is a flexible, student-centred programme designed to develop the whole child; academically, socially and emotionally. It emphasises creativity, collaboration and independent thinking, helping students build confidence in expressing their ideas and solving problems.
A broad and balanced curriculum covers English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies and the Arts, with opportunities to explore personal interests through electives and enrichment activities. MAP testing is used to monitor progress, guide personalised instruction and ensure students remain on track for success.
Inquiry-based learning and project work connect classroom knowledge to real-world applications. As students’ progress, they are well prepared for external benchmarks including the SATs, alongside graduation with the High School Diploma; a qualification recognised internationally that opens doors to leading universities worldwide.
